As you visit the GROW page, there are written devotions, blogs, and applications I pray will bring you encouragement and empowerment to be the best version of yourself. And lastly, come check out the NOURISH page! I am a big foodie and I love playing in the kitchen! Here we will get creative and enjoy healthy recipes that are not only delicious but quick, easy, and affordable!

WHAT STARTED THE SEED?
Let’s take a deeper look into the meaning of a seed.
SEED
“The beginning or cause of something”
It only takes a thought or an action for a process of growth to occur.
We all metaphorically have “seed(s)” we carry within us as we journey through life. What seed are you watering?
THE SEED began one evening as a friend prompted the question, “If you could do anything without getting paid to do it, what would it be?” Once I removed the limiting constraints from my thinking, I began to ponder the question once more and I experienced something unlocking within me causing me to dream.
In my process of self reflecting, I noticed areas I could spend hours in, whether it was my passion for Jesus, healthy eating, music, or creating ways to give back. And just like that I began the exploration of “sowing seeds” into my dream.
With each passing seasons, our passions may change or alter, but our gifts can be used in EVERY SEASON, blessing those around us.
Comparison, perfectionism, and fear can be our worst enemies when we are starting something new! They can restrict us from walking in our full potential. Through any doubts I had about starting this site, I had to realize it’s not just about following “my” passions. God wanted to do something in and through me by creating space to encourage one another to walk in freedom, in love, and in victory-in ALL areas of our lives. The reward is greater than any obstacle we may face in our journey.
If our goal isn’t to “perform” for anyone other than an audience of one — Jesus — then we have nothing to lose. THE SEED was my invitation to begin sowing!
WHO IS THE GAL BEHIND THE SEED?
Dabbling guitarist. Pacific coast native.
Wildflower enthusiast.
I’m originally from Southern California but in 2016 I officially became a “Washingtonian.” You can find me exploring the great outdoors, embracing photography, reading, gathering around the table with loved ones or even a new friend. I am a worshiper at heart, I love to bring joy and encouragement to others, and I’m always ready for a good belly laugh! Above all, I love to seek out the presence of God.
As I explore the great outdoors, I stand in awe of God’s beautiful creation. I find myself in a place of true serenity, lacking nothing and wholly fulfilled. Distractions dissipate, provoking me to be still, to be present and, to listen. Most of my writings come from moments like these where it’s no longer me striving, but an eager partnership with God.
WHO IS JESUS TO ME?
Jesus captured my heart over 7 years ago. I can remember when he first opened my eyes to the truth of the gospel. Attending church for many years and learning about Jesus but yet never fully experiencing Him in a real and personal way.
His constant pursuit of me is what truly captured my heart. Gently walking me out of just knowing about him to experiencing true intimacy with my Heavenly Father, my Creator. This began a process of laying down my life in exchange for His.
– His unconditional love changed EVERYTHING –
His love spoke value, life, purpose, and freedom. No longer finding the need to search for these things outside of Him but instead resting in the truth of who He says I am, a daughter of the most High King!
As I continually allow His truth to wash over me, my heart becomes alive to His love, His desire and His heart for people. I experience the true joy when an opportunity arises to share His goodness and unconditional love with others. Following Him has been far from boring. Instead, FULL of adventure, an adventure you and I were made for!
