I sat down with Miss. Aashia Cavi the forerunner who began LOVE IN EVERY COLOR. I was grateful for the opportunity to hear the heartbeat around how it came about and why. It inspired me and I hope it does the same for you!
What is LOVE IN EVERY COLOR?
Love In Every Color is an organization solely focused on “Bridging the gap and closing the racial divide.”
In bridging this gap, we hope to bring the world to a place of total freedom and foundational love. We do not focus on shedding light on injustice but rather developing solutions to help us overcome stereotypes made through generations of oppression.
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATOR?
“The Banner over us is LOVE”
Love in Every Color was birthed through the pain of societal racism. As hate and division grow across society, love speaks solutions and restoration.
A passion arose within me to not only seek truth but to get at the root and end racism and hatred. This was a call to action and it was a call I was willing to step into.
INCLUSION IS POWER
In this photo you will see the call is for everyone. If one hand let’s go, we are unable to hold it up any longer. It takes community glued by love to begin experiencing real change.
Have you ever thought what life would look like if we put down our right to fight and pick up our will to love? Meeting one another where we are, not for a temporary fix but for a life-time of peace!
Collectively, let’s set the standard and achieve what warring over each other could never accomplish.
