THE PROMISED LAND 🥛🍯

Are you waiting for the Promised Land, or are you there?

So often we think the promise will come one day—when the striving ends, when things feel settled, when our hearts finally arrive.
But in Jesus, Every promise is yes and amen.

The land has been given. The inheritance is secure. The presence of God dwells within you—you’ve already entered in.
Now, it’s NOT about striving to arrive, but learning how to possess what’s already yours.

As you take your place, you’ll see giants. Fear, doubt, comparison, insecurity—each one trying to convince you that the promise isn’t real.
Yet—they are not barriers to the promise—but an invite to intimacy.

The only battle you need to win, is the battle for intimacy.
From that place:
faith grows unshakable,
peace surpasses all understanding,
love casts out fear,
and joy becomes strength.

When intimacy wins, every other battle bows.
Like Joshua and Caleb, we can face giants in our life but still declare, “We are well able to overcome it.”
Not because of our strength, but because our eyes are fixed on the One who gave the land.

So lift your gaze—magnify your God.
The waiting is over. You’ve entered in.
Now, possess the land.

Food brings us together.
But presence transforms the room.

Thirteen women.
One quick, wholesome meal.
Fresh ingredients. Clean pesto. No fluff.

Only real food.
Real conversation.
Real God-moments.

This is hospitality that shifts hearts.
This is what happens when we SAVOR.

During the Christmas season we can often be reminded of a specific name of 𝗚𝗼𝗱-𝔼𝕞𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕦𝕖𝕝, “ God with us.”

I’m sure most of you can easily recite this truth but do we truly understand it in it’s fullness? I felt it gnawing on my heart to pause and reflect on what it truly means.

He came and dwelled among us in human flesh for 33 years but His presence is still available to us here and now. I believe if we get this God reality it will shift the way we operate through our day to day lives.

Pausing and acknowledging we’re not alone but that we have a God who deeply cares for us. Why would we ever need to fear, worry, or be lonely again if the creator of the universe is by our side? Let me remind you, NOTHING is impossible for Him.

I’m inviting you into this challenge. Really think about it for a moment and try to get past what you’ve heard thousands of times. Allow the reality of God being WITH US to penetrate your heart as you think through real life scenarios. From the challenges in life to the sweet and precious moments.

He’s with you.

When we don’t acknowledge Him, or we struggle to even believe this truth.

He’s STILL with you.

What amazes me about God being God is He could’ve designed you and I to be puppets, just obeying the puppeteer and choosing to be completely disconnected. Instead, He CHOSE to intimately intertwine himself with His creation. Not only has He revealed who He is and what He’s like through the life of Jesus (John 14:9) but also knows us fully and would love nothing more than to be in a beautiful relationship that is mutually enjoyed.

What would this change for you if you began believing it? That beautiful pursuit of your heart is here and now. I believe every human longs to be fully known, seen and loved and the reality is…you are! May the gift of having an awareness of God being specifically with YOU, bring peace, gratitude, and deep fulfillment.

Now, as you release the beautiful name “Emmanuel” from your lips this season and throughout the years to come may it mean something much deeper than just a name but a name that changed everything.

𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘✨

So often I hear people saying, “ 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘌𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦?”

Don’t get me wrong, I understand the heart cry 😅
But I want to challenge that thought by pointing out the fact that we get the choice everyday to eat of that very tree.

This time that 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦— is our thought life. Every thought will either propel us into life or 𝖽𝖾𝖺𝗍𝗁. (Romans 8:6)

If you ever felt “dead inside” I would propose you’ve been eating what you were never created to consume.

The first step to begin 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 requires humility. We must acknowledge His ways are truly higher than ours.

Next, we must learn to be diligent in taking every thought captive and making it obedient to Christ. Then life will flood every cell of our being. Affecting our future generations, body, soul & spirit. (2Corinthians 10:5)

To walk this out successfully we must be aware of the enemy’s schemes.

“𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘺...”

Since the beginning of time, we have heard that enticing whisper and entertained it more times than we would like to admit.

In turn, it caused us to doubt God’s word and to turn away from Love Himself.
May we expose it for what it is and never allow pride and doubt to take root.

Instead we must apply our FAITH, no longer allowing:

∙our 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀/𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀
∙ 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲.
∙what looks like the “𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲” thing to do

to leads us.

From now on—𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦🙏🏼

With His word and the Holy Spirit as our Helper. God has given us everything we need to be successful. Our only responsibility, just like Eve, is to exercise our free will by choosing the “tree of life,” let’s choose LIFE!

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗢𝗪𝗟🍽️

I’m excited to let you in on one of my favorite recipes that I love to share amongst my friends.

This dish allows each one of your guests to create what they’d prefer without wasting food. I don’t know about you but when I’m preparing a meal for a large group it can be challenging to accommodate every dietary need and preference.

I believe the easiest way to pull this off is to create a “𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯” station. You’ll want a variety of ingredients that pair well with one another and are nutritionally packed!

With 𝘴𝘰 much variety, you would think it would take hours to create but who said you can’t make something just as delicious under an hour?

Every bite will be filled with 𝖼𝗈𝗆𝗉𝗅𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗋𝗒 flavors that leave your guests desiring for more.

May this “community bowl” be the talk of the night as you and your guest savor each and every bit!

* 1 Bag of Organic Brown Rice
* 2 Handful of Mixed Greens
* 2 Handfuls of Broccoli
* 1 Small Sized Yam
* 4 slices of Bacon
* 1/2 Can of Organic Garbanzo Beans
* 1 Avocado
* 1 tsp Salt
* 1 tbsp Cumin
* 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
* 1 1/2 tbsp TJ’s Vegan Caesar Dressing

𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘👂🏻🙏🏼

God is still speaking today. He isn’t in the heavenly’s completely disconnected from humanity. The beautiful thing about God is He is all about 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱. The way He speaks isn’t always the same. He knows how to communicate to each one of us in a unique way so we can understand.

Before we even try to hear His voice for ourselves we first must know 𝘄𝗵𝗼 He is and 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 He is like. The Bible and reading about Jesus’ life is the best way to get those answers. Jesus states, when we see Him, we’ve seen the Father(𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 14:9) The more we understand His nature, the better we are at discerning His voice in our day to day lives.

I wanted to highlight one of the many ways God speaks to us, which is 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦. I point this one out because so often we want God to speak in a thundering voice where we can’t help but be interrupted. I believe He can and does do this from time to time but most often it’s the still small voice. He doesn’t use His power to overpower but instead gives us an opportunity to choose.

The whisper allows us to 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬.

When someone speaks softly, it’s an invite to quiet our hearts and to lean in so we can hear. Clinging to every word to ensure we don’t miss a thing.

This is so beautiful to me. Not only does God want to speak to us but He would desire for us to listen and 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘥.
I love this reminder in James 1:8, when we draw our hearts closer to God, He responds and draws His heart closer to 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀! That thought alone should cause our hearts to melt and come with expectation.

Maybe you’re someone who doesn’t feel like you hear God. I’m here to encourage you, YES you do! You just might need to turn down the 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲 to other things and tune into Him. Don’t just take my word for it, it was a promise from Jesus Himself. John 10:27, Jesus says His followers will have the ability to 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 Him. His voice is loving, gentle, encouraging, and full of life-giving truth. I pray you will be aware of His presence in your everyday life and begin to pursue Him in a new way. Listen close🙏🏼

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗗👩🏼‍🌾

The other day I was with a couple of friends and we began talking about the importance of soil.

I was fascinated to learn about all the many layers to this process before the seed even goes into the ground.

Just when I thought I knew what to do when it comes to the whole gardening world, I realized I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Soil is not only one of the most important things to tend to but it’s quite time consuming. From the removal of rocks, to aeration, mixing etc.

If I’m honest, apart of me would love to skip this part, just plant the seed and watch my vegetables grow.

You know… One click of a button and it’s at my door (𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘰𝘯)😅

This microwave mentality has in some ways 𝗵𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 the beauty of process, anticipation, stewardship, and long awaited delight.

Then I began to think of how thorough the Lord is with the soil of 𝘖𝘜𝘙 hearts.
Oh my, am I grateful He doesn’t decide to skip a few steps.

He is SO patient and is quite the 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆!

I can just imagine a big smile on His face every time He gets to removes a rock or aerates the ground. Knowing the more time He cares for the soil, the DEEPER the roots go.

This is the “𝘸𝘩𝘺” behind it all. We must become-

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗗, 𝗨𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗙𝗥𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗙𝗨𝗟!

I don’t know about you, but I want 𝗅𝗈𝗇𝗀 𝗅𝖺𝗌𝗍𝗂𝗇𝗀 fruit in my life.

What started as a simple conversation about soil became so much more to me in a moment. It was as if God was aerating my heart. Breathing life to areas that needed heaven’s perspective.

“Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.”

Genesis 2:7

May we allow the Master Gardner to tend to the soil of our hearts and find 𝘫𝘰𝘺 in the journey as our roots go deep. Yes, the arrival is always nice but a willingness to go the long and less desirable route will in turn reap great treasures along the way.

He will 𝖿𝗂𝗇𝗂𝗌𝗁 what He started, making everything beautiful in it’s time🌱🤍
